LABORATORY SYSTEM

Over the years, we have been proud to be a pioneer Lab in technology, highly qualified human resources, and perfect service. With the belief that DNA test results can decide a person’s fate, every step and every stage of DNA testing must be absolutely accurate and checked and monitored through many levels according to a certain process, in order to bring customers absolute satisfaction and trust.

Aiming to meet the needs of our customers in the most diverse, fastest and most convenient way, we have invested in the most modern DNA testing lab system in Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. LOCI’s test results will also be the results of countries with the most advanced science today such as the US, UK, France, Canada, etc.

DNA EXTRACTION ROOM

The DNA extraction room of Loci Molecular Biology Institute is arranged separately, invested with modern equipment, using the world’s leading extraction kits, always ensuring the extraction process at the highest level of accuracy. The extraction process is always carried out in separate PCR Cabinets, with a sterilization system and ensuring the highest purity.

In particular, the center is equipped with 2 Thermo automatic extraction machines that no other testing center has, ensuring the fastest and most standard extraction process.

After extraction, it is verified with the NaNo Drop DNA concentration meter, ensuring the extraction process achieves the most optimal and accurate results.

DNA CLONING ROOM

Thanks to the optimization of the composition of each mixture, each thermal cycle, PCR multiplication cycle, and DNA amplification using the new version of the 16-locus gene analysis chemical kit (Identifiler, Identifiler Plus and Identifiler Direct) from AppliedBiosystems.

The PCR machine model 9700 PCR Gold block of AppliedBiosystems (USA) has the advantage that the entire PCR machine is designed with a gold block (Gold Block), which helps the temperature increase and decrease process to take place very quickly in terms of PCR time requirements and has high accuracy, ensuring the DNA replication process.

AUTOMATIC DNA ANALYSIS ROOM

The fully automated DNA analysis room is synchronously invested with 4 Automated Genetic Analyzer DNA testing systems from AppliedBiosystems (USA), with a capacity of 16 capillaries for electrophoresis. This is the most modern system in the world today for automatic gene analysis using capillary electrophoresis technology.

This system is also the system being used by prestigious laboratories around the world:

CONSULTATION ROOM – DATA MANAGEMENT

The latest version of GeneMapper IDX software, specialized for analyzing and reading DNA data, fully automatically compares 16 gene loci. After technicians have finished analyzing the barcoded DNA samples, the analysis results will be sent to the scientific council for consultation and re-evaluation to give the most accurate conclusion about the blood relationship between the DNA samples.

When the scientific council has concluded, based on the barcode of the samples, the data management software will show the customer’s information corresponding to the DNA sample. The company director will send the customer a DNA analysis result form with full customer information and a conclusion about the blood relationship between the people whose samples need DNA analysis.
